Ink and delicate red color on paper, mounted as a hanging scroll. Travelers in a boat in an autumn shore landscape with a maple tree and grasses. An inscription with a poem to the picture, signature: "In the ninth month of the renchen year (1772) at the Yinxiang Studio in the capital written/painted by Liangfeng Daoren Luo Pin" and an artist's seal: "Liang Feng". Two other seals.
The inscription indicated that the poem was written on the occasion of this painting by Tanxi (Weng Fanggang, 1733-1818) during their trip to Luo's studio 'Xiangye Caotang' (in Yangzhou).

Luo Pin (1733-1799), pseudonym Liang Feng ("Two Peaks") was a Chinese painter of the Qing Dynasty. He studied painting under Jin Nong (1687-1764) and painted people, Buddhist images, flowers and landscapes. He was the youngest of the "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou" and known for his demon paintings
